Better brains than I have put together some explanations of RSS feeds, but in essence, you subscribe to a feed (e.g. blog or news site) via your web browser or a feed service and get notified automatically every time a new article is posted (published). This mean that you don’t have to remember to go to a website every few days, weeks, months to see what’s new—the information is sent to you automatically.
